SRINAGAR: The body of a 39-year-old man was recovered from the Daksum forest area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said.
The body was found around four kilometres above the Sheep Farm at Drubmarg Khara Gagda Behak, they said.
The deceased was identified as Basharat Ahmad Junjua, son of Ghulam Nabi Junjua and a resident of Kund, Qazigund.
A police official confirmed the recovery and said further proceedings had been initiated in the matter.
