Police recovered a body from Lidder river in Pahalgam area of Islamabad district last evening. A police statement said that the body of 45 year’s old Lahanu Chowdary son of Moti Ram Prassad resident of Tegrag, Dahang, Nepal was recovered from river Lidder near Tool Post, Pahalgam.
He was working in Nathus Rasowyee, Pahalgam and was reportedly absconding since March14. The body of deceased is lying in Phalagam hospital. Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
