The body of a drowned boy was fished out from river Vishaw in Islamabad Thursday, a police spokesperson informed.
An 11 years old boy identified as Aakib Rashid Reshi son of Abdul Rashid resident of Naina Sangam, Islamabad got drowned in river Vishaw while bathing on 19th of this month. A search operation launched by Islamabad police with the help of SDRF, river police and MARCOS was going on from last five days to fish out the body of boy.
Today morning Islamabad police with the assistance of locals fished out the body from river Vishaw near High School Naina and handed over the body to his relatives for last rites.
