A first braid chopping incident was reported from Baramulla district in northern part of Kashmir on Thursday.
Reports said that the braid choppers person cut the braid of a teenage girl during wee hours on Thursday in Khoja Bagh area of the northern Kashmir district.
The girl, whose family is originally from Uri town of the district, is living in private family quarters in Khoja Bagh for past ten years.
Soon after the incident, a police party from Baramulla Police station reached at the spot to interact with the family members and the victim.
