Canadian High Commissioner in India Stewart Beck Monday morning called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here and discussed various matters of mutual interest with him.
As per a statement the High Commissioner was accompanied by Head of the Political and Economic Programme, Johanne, Senior Analyst in the Privy Council Office at Ottawa, Jawad Qureshi and Senior Analyst in the Political and Economic Programme of the High Commission of Canada, Madhsri Dass.
Matters pertaining to revival of tourism, peace and economic development besides initiatives taken by the state and the central governments for inclusive development in Jammu and Kashmir also came up in the meeting.
