SRINAGAR: A landmine explosion occurred in the Krishna Ghati area of Poonch in the Jammu division, though no damage was reported in the incident.
Reliable sources told news agency JKNS that in the Krishna Ghati sector of the Mendhar sub-division in Poonch district, a sudden landmine explosion took place along the Line of Control (LoC) in the afternoon.
They said that following the explosion, the Pakistani Army started firing at Indian Army posts, prompting retaliatory action from the Indian Army.
They further stated that no damage was reported in the incident, and an investigation has been initiated.
