Minister for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution and Transport, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan Friday conducted a surprise visit to District Hospital Handwara to ensure regularity and punctuality of medical and para medical staff.
During the inspection, 23 officials including 4 doctors and 19 para medicals were found unauthorizedly absent from their duties and were placed under suspension by Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara on the instructions of
Choudhary Ramzan.
The Chief Medical Officer, Kupwara was asked to charge sheet within five days so that action under rules be taken against the suspenees.
