SRINAGAR
Violent clashes erupted in the north town of Baramulla amid complete shutdown on Saturday.
Police and paramilitary CRPF personnel used tear gas shells and pellets to disperse the protesters who pelted stones on them.
Valley observed complete shutdown in response to the call given by Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani.
The call was to protest against the killings of five people in Shopian on September7 and 11.
The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered a probe into the killing.
