Wife of noted ‘rebellious’ poet Mushtaq Kashmiri Saturday morning passed away due to cardiac arrest.
According to family sources, the death occurred in the intervening night at around 3am. later the he body was laid to rest at ancestral graveyard in Khanyar.
“It was sudden death due to cardiac arrest,” said a member of family
Considered to be a “reformist with strong religious leanings,” Mushtaq Kashmiri till recently was in Pakistan.
