Days after a cloudburst wreaked havoc in South Kashmir’s Shopian, another cloudburst struck South Kashmir’s Kokernag area Thursday, triggering flash floods and inundating several houses in the low-lying areas.
The cloudburst alarmingly swelled Brengi Nallah—a tributary of Jhelum—after the cloudburst hit Kokernag, flooding many residential houses and washing two houses situated in low-lying areas.
The affected people have been shifted to safer places.
