PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday alleged the chief minister, Omar Abdullah that he should have saved parliament attack convict Afzal Guru but he failed to do so.
“Our CM said that Afzal was hanged in Delhi what could he do, but I want to ask him that when the murderers of late Rajive Gandhi were saved by their respective government why our government could not do anything,” Mehbooba said.
She added that the state government could not even get the body of Afzal Guru.
Parliament attack convict, Afzal Guru was hanged and buried in Tihar Jail Delhi on February 9, 2013.
Mehbooba alleged that Jammu and Kashmir State has been made a colony and its people are being treated as the residents of a colony.
However, Mehbooba praised the former PDP-Congress Coalition government.
However, MLA Budgam Agha Ruhulla, while taking part in the discussion alleged that the killings in Jammu and Kashmir were started when PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was Home Minister of India and all the forces were acting under him.
