The Coordination Committee of ruling National Conference and Congress will meet in Jammu on Monday evening to discuss the strategy of elections for the four Legislative Council seats reserved for Panchayati Raj Institutions.
Sources said that the CCC under the chairmanship of Prof. Saifuddin Soz will meet Monday evening to discuss the number of issues including upcoming MLC elections.
“Regarding the four seats, the meeting will discuss the seat sharing pattern and fielding of candidates for the four seats, two each in Jammu and Kashmir regions”, the sources added.
Meanwhile, the two parties are said to have activated their cadres among the panches and sarpanches in wake of the elections for the LC seats.
The committee is also expected to iron out certain differences among the coalition partners regarding various issues which had remained unsolved during the previous meetings.
