SRINAGAR
The world famous ski-resort of Gulmarg was the coldest place in Kashmir with the mercury dipping at minus 4.2 degrees Celsius, MeT Department said.
Srinagar, recorded a drop of two degrees in the night temperature, as the cold wave conditions have set in earlier this year.
The minimum temperature recorded in Srinagar today was 2.8 degrees Celsius.
Tourist resort of Pahalgam also saw a drop in temperature from the previous night’s 1.8 degrees Celsius.
Gulmarg and other high altitude areas in the Valley received snowfall on Wednesday night, which continued intermittently on Thursday as well.
