The samples of sixteen more people tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, raising the total of COVID19 confirmed cases reported today to 37.

An official said that 13 more persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at SKIMS Soura and three cases were reported in Jammu.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo nodal officer for coronavirus control at SKIMS said that out of 1726 samples tested at the viral diagnostic lab of the tertiary care hospital, 13 came out to be positive.

He said that seven of them are from Budgam, five from Basoli Jammu and one from Baramulla.

As of now, J&K has reported 971 cases, of which 494 are Active Positive, 466 have recovered and eleven have died.
