SRINAGAR: The number of Covid-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 1631 on Monday, after 10 more patients tested positive for the dreaded virus.

Dr S Saleem Khan, nodal officer COVID19 at GMC Srinagar said 10 more persons including a pregnant woman have been tested positive at CD hospital Srinagar.

He said that 10 samples tested positive out of the 700 processed in 24 hours.

Dr Khan said that the hospital has collected 200 fresh samples for the tests on Saturday, May 23. Now there are a total of 160 samples the results of which are awaited.
