Coronovirus: 4 More Test Positive In Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Four more persons tested positive in Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir government spokesman Rohit Kansal said.

Kansal’s tweet reads: “4 more persons, all from Bandipora, tested positive today. Preliminary findings suggest they were close contact s of Srinagar patient who tested positive yesterday. All 5 reported to have participated together in religious event.”

Re-tweeting Kansal’s breaking news, DC Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal added: “The chain we were talking about. Everyone, it’s still not late. Pl cooperate and #BreakTheChain.”

Kashmir already had four positive cases. One each from Khanyar, Natipora, Hyderpora and Bandipora. Of them, the Khanyar lady is recovering. The Bandipore case is with SKIMS and two others with Chest Disease Hospital.

As of now, eleven persons have tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)  in the entire Jammu and Kashmir.
