Pall of gloom spread in Srinagar’s Boulevard when CRPF vehicle collided with Maruti Swift and Motor cycle resulting in death of Muhammad Ashraf and a ten years old boy. The accident according to reports took place near Hotel Welcome.
Reports further said that Ashraf hails from Nishat area. Soon after the mishap, locals protested against what they termed as ‘rash’ driving by the CRPF men. Locals told Kashmir Life over phone that the vehicle was set on fire and police resorted to aerial firing to disperse the agitated people.
