Curfew continues in North Kashmir’s Kupwara parts on Tuesday as well.
Reports reaching here said that curfew was imposed in Handwara, Trehgam and other parts in view of the situation following killing of five persons.
“Complete curfew has been imposed here,” a local from Trehgam said. He added that two minors, identified as Yawar (12) and Azad (15) were detained by police last evening.
Meanwhile, reports said that J&K Police have arrested a civilian – Hilal Ahmed Bandey – who was among two people named by the Handwara schoolgirl in her statement regarding her alleged molestation by an army man last week.
