SRINAGAR: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Sunday inspected the ongoing construction of the High Security Prison at Dambra in Mahanpur tehsil of Kathua district and reviewed the progress of the project and associated infrastructure.
During his visit, Dulloo took stock of work on various components of the prison complex, including the main facilities and other related buildings and amenities.
Officials informed him that construction work on several sections of the prison complex and associated infrastructure was nearing completion.
Dulloo directed the concerned agencies to expedite the remaining works and ensure that the project is completed at the earliest while maintaining the prescribed quality standards.
Principal Secretary Home Chandraker Bharti, DGP Prisons Deepak Kumar, Special DG (Coordination) S.J.M. Gillani, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma and SSP Kathua Mohita Sharma were among the officers present during the inspection.
ADC Kathua Mahima Madan, ADC Billawar Vishavjeet Singh, SP High Prison Jail Dambra Rahul Charak and other concerned officers also accompanied the Chief Secretary during the visit.
