The frontier areas of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pir Panjal range once again resounded in an overnight Indo-Pak gunfire along Line of Control.

The two countries traded fire on LoC in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu region a day after DG-level talks focused on “ceasefire violations” ended.

After firing, accusations – who fired first, started trending.

Jammu-based defence spokesman said Pakistan army “resorted to unprovoked firing” on Indian forward posts of Poonch and Balakote sectors on Friday.

In the fresh firing, however, no damage was of life or property was reported.
