In wake of crisis in Kashmir, a group of volunteers have come up with a helpline numbers to help the Kashmiris studying and working in New Delhi.

Kashmir is under continuous curfew since July 09, 2016 and students and people working outside Kashmir have not been able to contact their families in Kashmiris due to communication blockade.

The renew uprising which consumed at least 58 civilian lives was triggered by killing of popular militant commander Burhan Wani in Kokernag area on July 08, 2016.

A member of the group told Kashmir Life that they are ready to assist any Kashmiri “in need of money and material”.

The members of the group include those who played an active role during September 2014 Kashmir floods by carrying out relief efforts in different mainland Indian states.

The group has made help line numbers of two volunteers, Arif and Khalid, public and they can be contacted at 07838258993 and 09403856014, respectively.
