Condemning the CRPF raids on Sopore hospital, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Chairperson, Syed Ali Geelani Wednesday said that “Indian forces have crossed all the moral and ethical limits” by beating and thrashing the patients and their attendants.

“They (forces) have entered the labour room and tried to molest the female patients signifying that this notorious force in uniform has no human values left in them,” Geelani said in a statement early issued this evening.

The octogenarian Hurriyat patriarch appealed people, especially youths, to resists these “culprits” and jointly fight them.

Meanwhile, reacting to the statement of J&K government spokesperson “hailing” the Indian Prime Minister’s statement regarding Kashmir, Hurriyat Conference (g) Spokesperson said that these “puppets can go to any extend to please their masters in Delhi”.

“It is not surprising to hear from these selfish and opportunists who have saffronised themselves for their petty interests,” the spokesperson said.

“These local collaborators turn blind eye to the death and destruction of their own people just for the lust of power. But people are aware of their criminal hypocrisy and the day is not far, when they will be penalized and punished for their betrayal,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, Geelani expressed his grief on the demise of Moulana Syed Mohammad Ashraf Andrabi of Zadoora Pulwama.

While offering condolences to the bereaved family, he said that Kashmir has lost a renowned Islamic Scholar and it is “impossible to fulfil this gap”.

He prayed for the departed soul.
