While welcoming the discussion in Parliament and All Parties Meeting in New Delhi, the CPI (M) leader MY Tarigami said on Friday that it should not be mere crisis management exercise.
As per an official statement, Tarigami has said, “The government should consider the suggestions made by the left and other opposition parties earnestly and take immediate confidence building measures like putting an immediate end to use of pellet guns, removal of draconian AFSPA and withdrawal of army from civilian areas.”
HE has also said that there should be credible plan in place to initiate a sustained and meaningful dialogue with all stake holders to address the underlining political issues otherwise the unrest is bound to replay again in future.
