While reacting to the all party meeting held at new Delhi, The APSCC chairman on Friday said that any meeting without stake holders of Kashmir including Hurriyat, regional political parties and minorities living in Kashmir is ‘meaningless’.
As per a statement, APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina has said that discussion in parliament was meaningless as most of Parliamentarians including Dr Karan Singh, Sitaram yachuri, Shard Yadav, Prop Ramgopal Yadav, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa were unaware of ground zero situation that erupted in Kashmir Valley, let these Parliamentarians once visit the ground zero to know the reality and thereafter take any call on Kashmir.
While as APSCC (south Kashmir) and President GPC Pulwama Dr JS Shaan has said that such meetings can be for administrative purpose but it cannot resolve the ongoing Kashmir crisis. He said, “I am very much concerned over the killing and pellet injuries in south Kashmir and in this crucial time more medical staff is needed and government should facilitate serious injuries and should come up with financial strategy so that they can get appropriate health treatment in or outside state, as most of victim are from poor families.”
At the same time APSCC (North) and Sikh Student Federation President Rajinder Singh has said, “We are made hostage by the government since last one month and to make talks meaningful the agitated youth leaders should also be taken in confidence in coming talks or it will be meaningless. They urged the government to immediately release the arrested youth so that a good atmosphere is created for dialogue.”
