Reacting sharply over the outcome of what she described ‘so-called’ All Parties Meeting called by ‘people with imperialistic mindset’ at New Delhi, Dukhtaran-e-Milat Chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi Friday said that India should at least think and try to find out an answer why people of Kashmir are on roads from last 35 days and why despite getting blinded, youth are hitting to streets against the ‘oppressive rule of India’ in Kashmir.

“This Ostrich like approach of India is known to all and we all are well aware of this fact that India is dogmatic in its approach when it comes to Kashmir. It is an open fact that India is scared of conducting referendum in Kashmir. If this country claims that even Pakistan administered Kashmir belongs to them, then why it is reluctant to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir. The fact is that India is taking the shelter of lies and it knows it well that it has been ruling over Kashmir on military might,” DeM chairperson Aasiya Andrabi told a local news gathering agency, CNS.

She welcomed Pakistan for making a statement that it is ready to hold a dialogue with India over Kashmir. She said that the stand of Pakistan with regard to Kashmir is clear that it want to solve this problem as per the wishes and aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Aasiya Andrabi also lauded the role and courage of Muslims of Chenab Valley and said that these people always reposed faith in Kashmiri people and always supported freedom struggle. “It is really shame on part of police to target peaceful protesters in Chenab Valley,” she said.

She appealed people to observe August 15 as ‘Black Day’ and celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day with pomp and show. “DeM request all the people mostly women to celebrate Pakistan Independence Day with fervor and stage protest against India rule in Kashmir,” she said. (CNS)
