Heavy deployment of police, CRPF and Rashtriya Rifles men has been made in South Kashmir’s Islamabad town in view of the local resistance leadership’s call to Lal chowk (Islamabad) Chalo.
All the entrance points leading to Islamabad town have been sealed with tight security cover and no vehicle is being allowed to move in or out.
“At Khanabal, Ashaji Pora, Shirpora, Lazibal, forces are stopping the vehicles and barring from movement into the town,” locals said.
The local resistance leadership had called for ‘Lal Chowk Chalo’ in view of youth’s killing on Saturday.
Even some journalists alleged that they were barred from entering into the town.
One youth, Yawar Ahmad Dar, was killed by men in uniform on Saturday in Botengo village after he was hit by pellets in chest and abdomen. One more youth, Sayar Ahmad, was killed in Tukroo village of Shopian district on same day.
