#Day65: Seventeen Civilians Injured In Pulwama Forces Action Reach SMHS Hospital Sgr

SRINAGAR

At least seventeen civilians who were injured in RR, CRPF and police action in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district have reached SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

The men in uniform had raided Karimabad village of Pulwama this morning around 6:30 AM damaging private property and making arrests.

However, people came out of their homes and held protests who were later joined by people from adjacent villages.

Forces fired pellets, tear gas canisters and bullets and locals said that over hundred civilians were injured in the forces action. They were being treated in district hospitals.

“One ambulance reached SMHS Hospital,” sources at the major health facility said, “it brought 17 civilian injured who are being treated for injuries in emergency ward.”

Sources said that one of the seventeen injured civilians has bullet injury in abdomen.

At least 80 civilians were killed by forces and over 12000 others injures since July 09, 2016.
