Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq  on Sunday said government forces have gone berserk across Kashmir, local news gatherer KNS said.

The cleric said that in Bahrampora, Sopore they was forced out entire village out of their homes and tortured them. In Hygam Baramulla, he alleged even women were not spared and shot at or the milk van drivers in Newa Pulwama carrying milk supply to hospitals. Mirwaiz said it is a deliberate attempt to instill fear in the people so that they accept their subjugation and comply.

Mirwaiz said indiscriminate firing of pellets on innocent children during the past more than 40 days repeated again yesterday at Nawab Bazaar where a seven-year-old child Junaid Ahmad Khan was critically injured.

Condemning the attack on the 28-year-old Imam Qari Nasir Ahmad Shiekh, a resident of Kupwara and continuous use of pellet guns on youth, the Hurriyat (m) spokesman said this was yet another example of worst form of atrocities committed by Delhi.
