Police on Friday morning arrested Dukhtaran e Millat Chairperson Syed Asiya Andrabi from her Soura residence in Srinagar.
A police official told Srinagar based news gathering agency that Asiya was arrested in connection with couple of cases registered against her for waiving Pakistani flags and addressing via phone a conference in Pakistan recently.
Asiya, who is not keeping well, as per DeM sources, has been lodged in Women’s Police Station Rambagh, Srinagar.
