Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Relief & Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari Tuesday said that the State Cabinet has decided that wherever the relocation of families is required from areas exposed to landslides, flash-floods, the Department shall identify alternate land for their rehabilitation and provide 10 marlas of land to each family.
An official statement this evening said that the Minister while replying to a question by Yashpaul Sharma in the Legislative Council today said that compensation to the tune of Rs 553.80 lakh has been paid as per SDRF norms in district Poonch on account of relief to the flood affectees of September 2014.
