Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone said that Rs 150 crore have been earmarked in the budget 2015-16 for waiving off KCC loans for the smallest and most vulnerable farmers who have an outstanding balance of less than Rs 1 lakh.
According to an official statement, the Minister was replying to a question by Showkat Hussain Ganai in Legislative Council on Tuesday.
He said the Finance Minister in his Budget Speech has highlighted and initiatives of 50% waive off of the KCC loans.
