SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education has greenlit the formation of a Draft Committee to pave the way for the establishment of a Madrasa Board in the Union Territory.
The Draft Committee, consisting of distinguished officers and officials, has been entrusted with the task of crafting a comprehensive proposal for the Madrasa Board’s establishment in Jammu and Kashmir. The committee members are Dr Khursheed Ahmad Bhat, Principal, HSS Nowgam, Bandipora, Dr Shakeel Ahmad Khan, Sr Lecturer, BHSS Zadibal, Srinagar, Mohammad Shafi Wani, Sr Lecturer, BHSS Mujgund, Srinagar and Nazir Ahmad Motta, Coordinator (I/c Madrassas), CEW, DSEK
The Committee is scheduled to convene at the Directorate from January 3rd to January 7th 2024. Their primary objective is to formulate a comprehensive draft proposal, set to be submitted to the Director of School Education Kashmir on or before 10th January 2024.
