SRINAGAR: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is offering recruitment opportunities for the year 2024, under the Apprentice Act 1961.
The recruitment offers 30 vacancies across various subjects, encompassing Library and Information Science, as well as Computer Science.
The deadline for submitting the application form is within 21 days from the date of issuance of the official notification that is February 13, 2024. Therefore, the deadline to apply is March 4, 2024.
Candidates applying for DRDO Recruitment 2024 should not exceed 28 years of age. The appointment period for selected candidates is for one year. Only fresh pass-out candidates (passing their respective courses in 2022 & 2023) are eligible.
The qualifications vary according to the subject. For Library and Information Science, candidates must possess a Graduation and Degree or a diploma in Library Science from a recognized University/Institute. For Computer Science, candidates must have completed a Diploma in Computer Science.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9000 per month.
