SRINAGAR: A driver was killed on Thursday after his vehicle met with an accident in the Chang Bufliaz area of Poonch district.
Officials said that a vehicle bearing registration number JK02BC-3245 lost control due to overspeeding and crashed.
The driver, identified as Sarver Khan, son of Faiz Akber, a resident of Bufliaz, died on the spot.
The body has been shifted to SDH Surankote for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. (GNS)
