Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday arrested a drug peddler in Srinagar and seized charas from his possession.
Continuing its strong action against the drug menace, police party of Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh led by Inspector Mohd Ishaq apprehended a drug peddler during patrolling of the area and recovered Charas from his possession. The drug peddler was identified as Bashir Ahmad Hajam son of Ghulam Ahmad Hajam resident of Melhoora, Shopian, a police spokesman said in a statement.
Srinagar police has registered a case FIR number 122/2017 under section 08/20 NDPS ACT and investigation was set into motion.
