SRINAGAR: The weather across Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain mostly dry over the next seven days, with brief spells of thundershowers likely in some districts during afternoon and evening hours, according to Kashmir Weather.
On May 11, the weather is likely to stay dry until the afternoon, after which thundershowers are expected in parts of Kashmir, Ramban, Doda, Poonch, and Kishtwar. Conditions are expected to stabilise by evening.
On May 12, isolated thundershowers may occur during the afternoon and evening across parts of Jammu and Kashmir, while the rest of the day is expected to remain dry. A similar pattern is expected on May 13, with mainly dry conditions and a chance of short thundershowers in a few areas later in the day.
From May 14 to 17, the region is likely to experience mostly dry weather. However, occasional brief thundershowers cannot be ruled out. During this period, some of the thundershowers may be accompanied by gusty winds and hail in a few areas.
Authorities and residents have been advised to stay updated with local forecasts, especially in areas prone to weather-related disruptions.
