All the holed up militants at the EDI Complex are trapped in the fully concrete machine room of the elevator under the roof in the attic, the official sources told Kashmir Life.
“Forces trying to demolish it with rockets but so far no success,” they said.
Amid fierce encounter, the sources said, it may take longer as troops aren’t inclined to take some risks that can lead to further casualties.
“With Conference Hall on fourth-storey on fire,” the sources said, “militants hiding in the elevator’s machine room want to probably die together.”
