Condemning the militant attack on J&K EDI building at Pampore, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and Member Parliament, Mehbooba Mufti Sunday expressed shock and grief over the killing of security personnel and a civilian in the ongoing encounter at EDI building in Pampore area of district Pulwama.
“No religion allows such dastardly acts of violence which lead to spilling of innocent blood and bring enormous tragedies to the families of the victims,” Mehbooba said in a statement.
“Kashmir is going through a vicious circle of death and destruction for the past more than three decades and it has only brought miseries to the people. The perpetrators of violence must realise that it is not through the gun and grenade that political problems are resolved. Dialogue and reconciliation are the only options for making headway in finding a solution,” she said and added, “such acts of violence are aimed at not only disrupting the peace but weakening the state economy and destroying the infrastructure.”
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, she prayed for the everlasting peace of the departed souls. She also prayed for early recovery of the injured.
She is more worried for security personnels rather then kashmir people. Armed personnel are killing innocent kashmiris that is not a concern for Mehbooba Mufti. And these Pro-Indian politians are never serious about kashmir issue, they are only worried about their Chair.
