SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has placed eight JKAS officers at the disposal of the Director, Information, JK, Srinagar, for duties related to the first International Film Festival of Jammu Kashmir, scheduled from September 7 to 10.
The deployment was ordered under Government Order No. 1436-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated August 24, issued by the General Administration Department.
The officers have been directed to report to the Director, Information, JK, Srinagar, on August 28 for a briefing on their duties and responsibilities during the festival.
Those deployed include Ajaz Qesar Malik, Joint Director, Tourism, Jammu; Alyaz Ahmad Naisroo, Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes (Appeals-II), Srinagar; Nuzhat Khurshid, Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation; and Malik Waseem Ahmad, General Manager, DIC, Pulwama.
The order also places Raeis Ahmad Bhat, Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (M and P), Kashmir; Deebah Khalid Peer, Joint Director, Handicrafts, Kashmir; Nasir Mahmood Khan, Joint Director (Administration), Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir; and Abid Iqbal Malik, General Manager, DIC, Srinagar, at the disposal of the Director, Information.
