An encounter broke out in Panzan area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, between the government forces and militants on Thursday early morning.
Reports said the gun battle was started in today early morning, however, there were no reports of casualties so far.
Earlier, the militants fled from the house where they had been hiding and have reportedly shifted to a religious place. “We have called local elders to persuade the militants to come out of the religious place. There was a brief exchange of firing,” a senior police officer told NDTV.
Following the three encounters at three different districts, the internet services have snapped for the “precautionary measures”.
