Independent Legislator from north Kashmir’s Langate constituency, Engineer Rashid Tuesday visited the residence of parliament attack convict Muhammad Afzal Guru’s residence in Doabgah Sopore.
While interacting with the family members of Guru, Rashid expressed his sympathies and solidarity with the family.
He assured the family that he would raise the issue of injustices and return of Afzal’s body to on every possible forum.
The family also hailed the efforts of Rashid in raising his voice against the ‘unjust and inhuman’ hanging of Muhammad Afzal Guru.
