Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Working President and MLA Beerwah Omar Abdullah on Thursday asked the state administration to put in place a full proof mechanism to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience in view of the ensuing Muharram-ul-Haraam.
He asked the officers concerned to put in all possible efforts in ensuring smooth and peaceful Muharram by providing essential commodities, uninterrupted power, drinking water supply, medical care and other basic necessities to the people in Shia dominated areas.
