Senior Congress leader Taj Moihidin is going to urge party high command to take action against Sham Lal Sharma. He would also appraise high command in Delhi about current situation of Jammu and Kashmir. Sources close to Taj said he is leaving for New Delhi on April 26.

“Taj is going to appraise party high command about current situation and will discuss the behavior of his party colleague Sham Lal Sharma and would urge for action against him”, sources told KNS.

If sources are to be believed, it is learnt that Taj’s plea before high command would be ‘Sharma has created party indiscipline. He made allegations against me under a conspiracy to malign my image and reputation only to settle personal scores and scuttle my chances of becoming the next party chief in the state’.

Confirming his proposed visit to Delhi, Taj told KNS, “Yes, I’m leaving to Delhi on April 26 to pay presence in Ajmir Sharief and will meet also party command on April 28 or 29”. “I’ll urge party high command to play effective role to end factionalism in State Congress in the interest of party”, said Taj.

He had said that he would take up the issue of Sharma’s behavior with Sonia Gandhi. “I’ll strongly demand an immediate action against Sharma for creating party indiscipline,” Taj had told KNS.

Ironically, a controversy had aroused between Taj and Sharma when former alleged irregularities in PHE department appointments after taking charge of department while latter refuted all allegations saying, “All these 7090 appointments were made from 1994 to 2005 when I was not PHE Minister. During my tenure, not even a single appointment was made. I am ready for a probe by a joint legislature committee.”
