“Choona Hai Aasman-III” a musical Talent Hunt Programme organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police concluded with a grand finale at SKICC, Srinagar.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was Chief Guest on the occasion, while Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah was the Guest of Honour.

Bollywood personalities Annu Malik, Sadhna Sargam and Ashok Thakeraia were special invitees in the programme.

Annu Malik, Sadhna Sargam and noted Kashmiri singer Shri Wahid Jeelani were judges of the finals. Legislators, Officers, Civil, Police and Paramilitary Forces participated in the programme.

Annu Malik and Sadhna Sargam also sung their famous Bollywood songs, which were highly liked by the audience. There were nine finalists, who performed in the programme.

In his welcome address Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Abdul Ghani Mir threw light on the aim of organizing the Talent Hunt.

IGP said that the programme has an attempt to provide platform to the youth of the state to show case their talent. Director and Chief Coordinator of the Programme was  Asrar Khan, SSP Samba. The programme was anchored by Dy. SP (Prob.) Sugandha.

Jagan Jot Singh was winner of junior male, while Hafiz Bilal was runner up. Shriya and Arooj Javed were joint winners in junior female category. Rabjot Singh was winner and Waqor Khan was runner up in senior male category. Manjoo Bala was winner and Masrat Aziz was runner up in senior female category.

The winners of the finals were given trophies and Rs, 10,000 each while runners up were given trophies and Rs, 5,000 each.
