SRINAGAR: Three residential houses were damaged and three firefighters injured after a fire broke out in the Surasyar area of Chadoora in Budgam district, officials said.
“Fire started in one of the houses and quickly spread to two adjoining structures, causing extensive damage to all three houses, while three firefighters sustained injuries during the operation. The injured personnel have been admitted to the hospital for treatment,” officials said.
The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
Meanwhile, locals have urged the administration to provide assistance to the affected families, citing financial difficulties. (KNO)
