Fire Destroys Hotel in Jammu

Fire destroyed a hotel in winter capital of J&K on Saturday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Life said that a major fire broke out in the morning in the multi-storey Hotel Premier on Residency Road area.

The police reached on the spot and fire tenders are on the job.

“More than a dozen fire tenders are working to douse the fire,” one of the cops on spot said.

He said there has been no humna injury or loss. “Fire personnel along with police successfully rescued all guests and staff of the hotel and prevented the blaze from spreading to other buildings and structures nearby,” he added.

The reports said that a short circuit could have triggered the fire.

Hotel Premier was considered one of the best hotels in Jammu region.
