A search party of security forces detected an IED on Srinagar- Jammu Highway in Charsoo village of Awantipora early morning on Thursday.
The traffic, which was thin at that time, was halted and the Bomb Disposal Squad diffused the IED, a police official at Awantipora Police station said. The squad comprised of men from Army, CRPF and JK Police.
