Government forces on Friday started a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Anchidora village in Islamabad district of South Kashmir.

An official said that a joint team of army and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the operation in the area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Locals sources said that drones are also being used to trace the hiding militants in the area.

They added that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
