The ex-militant injured in Tuesday firing incident at Sangrama is said to be former ‘sensational’ spokesman of Hizbul Mujahideen, Junaid ul Islam.
According to sources, Abdul Khaliq Dar alias Junaid ul Islam is said to be critically injured and shifted to SK institute of medical sciences Soura.
Khaliq son of Ghulam Qadir is resident of Khanpora Baramulla.
Meanwhile, army and special operation group (SOG) of police have cordoned off the whole area and started searches to nab the assailants.
Pertinent to mention that around 7pm four persons were injured when “unknown militant who was boarding a passenger Matadoor plying from Pattan towards Baramullah got off near Sangrama and opened fire at very same matadoor he had boarded by the pistol he was possessing.”
