SRINAGAR: The Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of KPDCL Anantnag on Saturday attached four employees of the Power Development Department (PDD) following the death of a daily wager during repair work in the Imoh Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to an order issued by the AEE, “Pending enquiry into the incident, the four field staff of Imoh Sector are hereby attached with this sub-division with immediate effect.”
Meanwhile, the sector incharge of Bulbul Nowgam has been assigned to look after the Imoh sector in addition to his existing duties.
Earlier, a daily wager identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone (32), son of Nazir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Hiller Kokernag, died after falling from an electric pole while carrying out repair work. (GNS)
